About our organisation...

The National Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs (NFYFC) is the largest rural youth organisation of its kind covering various Young Farmers' Clubs (YFC's) throughout England and Wales, helping support young people in agriculture and the countryside. It has grown to have over 700 clubs in England, Ireland and Wales, and many more overseas. But don't think you have to be a farmer to be in YFC, anyone is welcome.

The club participates in a variety of competitions throughout the year, the main competition day being Rally Day along with the Drama Weekend, Field Day, public speaking and many more!

As well as competitions the club organises social events such as our two barndances, The Windmill Farm Barndance, held in July, and the Cowbridge show dance in August, usually held at the Three Horseshoes in Moulton.

The main social event is the clubs Dinner Dance where members, past and present, along with members from other clubs dress up in their best attire to attend a 3 course meal to celebrate the achievments of the last 12 months. There is an awards ceremony to acknowledge members who have contributed a lot to the club in the previous year.

The club is run by members for members. A member is a young person between the ages of 10 and 26.

If you want to become a member or are a current member and have a friend who wishes to join, don't hesitate to contact Stacey, our chairman, who will provide you with the necessary information. Club fees vary from year to year but are usually around the £30 mark for the year.
